Adella Hernandez passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 17, 2023, with her daughter and grandchildren by her side.
Adella was a "wild child" who grew up in the 1960s. Her family was her top priority, and she devoted herself to worrying about and caring for them until the very end. Adella had a free-spirited personality and a sarcastic sense of humor. She valued loyalty, honesty, and authenticity and was never afraid to speak her mind. Adella was a strong advocate for those who were marginalized, and she strongly believed in fairness and equality for everyone.
Della possessed a remarkable sense of humor and a laughter that was infectious. Her wit was sharp as a razor, and she used it to challenge others to think outside their comfort zone and broaden their perspective. She was a loving and compassionate person who cherished her family deeply. She worried about them, supported them, protected them, forgave them, and never ceased to love them.
Adella was a beloved Mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her daughter Bridgette, son-in-law Frank, and beloved grandchildren Anne, Fiona, and Xander. Adella's love, strength, and compassion towards others impacted all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished for years to come.
