Alice Louise Tucker

Alice's Story

Alice Louise Tucker was born in 1932 to Elaine and Ira Thompson of Newfane, NY. Mom went to be with our Lord on February 17, 2016 with her family by her side.

Our parents Love Story began in 1954, when Mom married her high school sweetheart Benjamin Tucker. With their decision to serve our country and a commitment to the Army, the newlyweds began their journey throughout the United States and into Germany. Once back in New York, their daughter Krista was born, then a son, Jeffrey; and later after pioneering their way to California, another daughter, Mary, was born. San Diego is where they settled to raise their Family. Alice was the proud Grandma of eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

With her strong Faith in God and His promises and an unwavering belief that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13), Grams was never alone. Mom would often say “even though Dad has gone to be with the Lord, I am never alone, God is always by my side.”
