Anne Hoag Semasko (Hoag)

Anne Semasko, 91, passed away in San Diego, CA on 2/1/2015. A San Diego resident since 1971, Anne loved to paint, even returning to college after her sons were grown to obtain her Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. Anne traveled to many places worldwide and enjoyed friends and family. Evening walks were a favorite.

In 1944,at age 21 Anne traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii from Florida via train and troop ship to support the war effort, and met her future husband, Stephen, who predeceased her in 2003.

Anne is survived by 3 sons, Stephen, Michael and Peter, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10am, 2/6/2015 at the Chapel at Bethel Seminary, 6116 Arosa St, San Diego, CA. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association, or Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
