Arthur Allen Casale, affectionately known as Arty touched the lives of many with his career and vibrant personality. Born in San Diego, CA, on December 8th, 1954, Arty's journey was marked by a deep passion for various pursuits.
Arty's educational path led him through Hearst Elementary, Lewis Middle School, and culminated with his graduation from Patrick Henry High School in the class of 1972. From there, he embarked on a multi-faceted career that showcased his boundless energy and enthusiasm. Arty worked at SDG&E, where he brought dedication and skill to his role. His adventurous spirit also found expression in building Broncos for Baja races, adding a dash of thrill to his professional life.
Beyond the confines of traditional careers, Arty embraced moments of love and joy as a Wedding Minister, uniting couples in matrimony and releasing white pigeons as symbols of peace and new beginnings. This chapter illuminated his kind and generous nature, bringing light to those around him.
Retiring to indulge in his love for Pigeon Racing full-time, Arty found solace and excitement in this unique passion. His commitment to every endeavor he pursued reflected his nostalgic soul and great sense of humor, always leaving a trail of smiles wherever he went.
On February 11th, 2024, San Diego lost a shining star as Arty departed from this world. He leaves behind a legacy that resonates with all who had the privilege of knowing him. In the embrace of grief are Thelma Casale and Allen Casale - his beloved mother and father.
As Arty takes flight into eternity, he is survived by his sister Shauna Casale and brother Carl Casale. Together, they carry forward memories of a man who embraced life with open arms and a heart full of happiness.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on February 19th at Bully's East Prime Bistro Sports Bar in San Diego to honor the memory of Arty - a man whose presence enriched the lives of many and whose spirit will forever dance among us.
