She was a very successful consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, where her qualities of strength and independence paid off.
Family was of the utmost importance to Barbara, as evidenced by the fact that she helped to raise 6 children in her lifetime including a niece and nephew. She loved the friendships built while attending monthly senior luncheons and First Friday Mass. She also enjoyed going to community bible study at the Red Brick Church. She had a strong foundation in the Catholic faith which she passed on to her family and remained a member of the Altar and Rosary Society for many years at her local parish, Sacred Heart Church of OB.
Faith and family were the primary focus of Barbara’s earthly journey. Rest assured in the knowledge that she is now rejoicing with her family in heaven. May she rest in peace.
