Carmen Geline Bugawisan

Carmen Geline (Lagrimas) Bugawisan passed away at home on August 7, 2018. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 16, 1942 to Frederick Lagrimas and Loretta Mendez. She was a 1960 graduate of Farrington High School in Hawaii. She moved to California after high school and met her husband. They married in November 1961. She was a Civil Service employee for over 30 years and was very involved with the Hui-o-Hawaii of SD. She enjoyed many things such as dancing hula, playing bingo, crocheting, doing crafts and reading.

Carmen will be forever remembered by her husband of almost 57 years, Eugene Bugawisan; her children Genie (Frank) Montoya; Andrea Bugawisan and Kenny (Lynn) Bugawisan; 7 grandchildren Colton Bugawisan, Keone Montoya; Justin Bugawisan; Jordan Montoya; Katelynn Bugawisan; Sean and Linnea McCloud and two great-grandchildren, Malia & Kaleio Bugawisan. Her siblings Winifred Sambrano; Marlene Ortiz; Roderick & Randolph Lagrimas (both deceased); Patricia Rafferty and Sonya Mendez. Carmen will also be forever remembered by her in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A Hui Hou to our sweet holowahine.

Celebration of Carmen's Life will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Place to be announced.
