Carol Kepler, a beloved and cherished soul, peacefully bid farewell to this world on October 23, 2023 in San Diego, CA. Born on June 9, 1951, Carol has left behind a profound legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Carol had an indomitable spirit and zest for life, bringing joy to everything from family gatherings to everyday interactions. Laughing was her favorite thing, and her laugh was one to remember: bent over in such stitches that she couldn't talk, waving her hand in front of her to try to catch her breath.
Carol wore many hats in her life, and she was particularly proud of earning her degree to help others as a nurse. Still, she treasured the title of "mom" above all else. She embraced the joys and challenges of motherhood with unwavering strength and, most of all, unconditional love for her two daughters, Lisa and Tara. She lived life on her terms, fearlessly pursuing happiness with a sense of adventure and fun that knew no boundaries. Those adventures became her favorite stories to share and laugh about with friends and family. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in retelling Carol's stories. There are so many, and all of us who know Carol know she would want us to laugh.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Lisa and Tara, her siblings Sheila, Connie, and Rich, her grandchildren Julian, Cameran, and Shawn, and countless other friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private remembrance will be held by immediate local family, but there will be no formal service or ceremony. We encourage everyone to remember Carol in their own way, celebrating her life and the joy she brought to those around her.
