Carole Jean Anderson

January 2, 1934 — February 1, 2022

Carole Jean Anderson, age 88, peacefully went to be with the Lord in her eternal home on February 1, 2022, while surrounded by family who loved her deeply. Carole was born January 2, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the youngest of four. Nicknamed, “Cookie” as a girl, she was a little rascal growing up and would get away with everything. She used her swim lesson money to sneak away to the movies and she never did learn how to swim. Always singing and playing the piano, Carole would use piano practice as an excuse to get out of doing the dishes. Her big blue eyes and golden ringlets made her the apple of everyone’s eye.

Carole had 4 beautiful daughters; Debbie, Linda, Kim and Lisa, who she selflessly devoted her life to as a mother and friend. She always put the needs of her girls above herself. Carole instilled a strong faith in Jesus Christ in all four of her daughters, which gave the family strength to get through even the most difficult times.

Carole married David, the love of her life, on Sept 15, 1976, in Jackson, Wyoming and added 2 more lovely daughters, Nan and Char to her beautiful family. During their 46 years together, Dave and Carole enjoyed traveling in their motor home all over the western US and Alaska. They spent many a summer day fishing on their boat in Jackson Lake, Wyoming, and hiking with views of the Tetons. They were both ever present in the lives of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carole was a light in the lives of all who met her. Her witty sense of humor, love of music, fervent heart for animals and unconditional love of her family will forever be remembered. There aren’t words to capture what Carole meant to her family and friends and how deeply she will be missed. She is survived by her loving husband David, daughters Nan, Linda, Kim, Lisa, and her sister Mary. She left a legacy of 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and countless other friends and family. She was predeceased by her precious daughters Debbie and Char and her older brothers Bob and Bill.

Our comfort is knowing that Carole is now resting in the arms of our loving heavenly Father.
