Concetta Borsellino

Concetta (Giardina) Borsellino went home to be with the Lord on November 19, 2018. She was born in Buffalo, NY and moved to San Diego in 1947. Following graduation from Hover High School she became a draftsman for the city of San Diego. In 1958 she married Gino Borsellino and together they had 3 sons. She re-entered the work force in 1975 where she worked for 21 years in Food Service for the Grossmont Union High School District.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2014 and her sister Mary Cordileone. She is survived by two sisters, Angie LaRosa and Joanne Czarnecki (Tom); three children, Joe Borsellino (Mercedes), Sal Borsellino and Gino Borsellino, Jr.; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha and Sophia and several godchildren, nieces and nephews. Connie will always be remembered for her pleasant smile and kind word for everyone.

A viewing will be held at Featheringill Mortuary on Thursday, November 29, beginning at 4:00pm. followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Friday, November 30, at 10:00am.
