Cornelia W Haaland

Corrie Haaland, in her 96 th year of life, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday,
February 15, 2022, with her granddaughter by her side in San Diego, CA. She was a
devoted grandmother, mother and friend to all whose lives she touched.
Corrie was a devout Christian, who prayed at every meal and bedtime.

Cornelia (Corrie) Wilhelmina Francine Rondeau was born June 15, 1926 in Bandung,
Indonesia. Her father was a French man (Rondeau) who married her mother, Emma Vakkers.
Corrie was the youngest of fourteen children.

Corrie married Mr. Conrad Marcelius Haaland Jr on November 28, 1974, until his passing
on June 3, 2012, in Union City, TN.

Previous marriage was to Erwin Eweg on 21 October 1946, in Indonesia.

Corrie’s young family immigrated to Holland in 1949 where she became a Netherland
citizen. Her family then immigrated to the United States, a resident since October 6, 1958.

Corrie always loved music, sang and played in a band in her early years and later would attend
square dances with her husband. Corrie was a seamstress, a nursing assistant and then a
homemaker. Most of all she loved her family who she instilled good values that have served
them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Corrie is survived by three daughters, Jeanne Vincent, Esther Bea and Erica Nater; nine
grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
