Daniel Bernard Ehret

December 27, 1952 – Dec. 12, 2023

Dan was the third born child to Bernard Ehret and Rosemary Obringer. He was born in
Massillon Ohio and grew up in Canton Ohio, there he made lifelong friends and attended
Catholic school through 12 th grade. Dan attended trade school and became a plumbing
contractor and owner of Ehret Plumbing. Dan was a lifelong Nascar and Buckeye fan. In the
1980’s he moved to California and became a General Contractor in 1990. Dan met Denise and
he beautifully chronicled their dates in a journal that was found after his passing. Dan and
Denise married in 1990 and they built a life together in sunny San Diego, CA. Dan deeply
treasured God and family and was known as a man that was easy to talk to. He was the
encourager behind so many of our accomplishments.

Dan leaves behind Denise, his wife of 33 years. As well as his children; Ali Reintjes (Brandon),
Rick Stoody (Jenn), Robby Stoody (Becca), Daniel Ehret (Ashley), Cody Ehret (Julia) and Faith
Ehret. In addition he adored his grandchildren; Beata Reintjes, Lauris Reintjes, Madeleine
Stoody, Jack Stoody, Emily Stoody, Capri Stoody, Cali Stoody, Aiden Ehret, Brooklyn Ehret and
Emma Rose Ehret.

Dan also leaves behind his dearly loved mother, Rose Ehret and his only sister, Jan Stands as
well as his five best friends who were also his brothers; Dave Ehret (Valerie), Dick Ehret (Pat),
Don Ehret (Linda), Jeff Ehret (Cindy) and Steve Ehret (Heidi).

Loved ones that went before Dan; his father, Bernard Ehret and unborn daughter Analise Ehret.

We hold Dan deeply and lovingly in our hearts until we meet again.
