David Ferrez, age 76 passed away peacefully at home into his heavenly Father's arms on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. David is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Martha Ferrez, and by his daughter Deanna Marie Ferrez, in- laws Pedro and Benigna Jiron of New Mexico. David is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Yolanda, his daughters Christine, Catherine, Michelle Ferrez and
grandchildren Alec and Marissa Davidson.

David is also survived by his brother Robert Ferrez, sister-in-law Alice, nephews Andre, Vincent, Christopher, Daniel, Mario and Thomas, nieces Anna and Lisa, many great nieces, great-nephews, Yolanda's family in New Mexico, as well as extended New Mexico family, cousins, and friends. David worked as a printer at Commercial Press for forty-five years, providing well for his family. David enjoyed playing racquetball and jogging, supporting the San Diego Chargers, and the San Diego Padres, and attending his daughter’s functions, such as the father daughter dances at Our Lady of Peace. David also enjoyed visiting his family in New Mexico, and when they visited him, he enjoyed sharing his Southern California with them. David will always be loved and remembered for his quiet, humble, generous ways. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 31 at 4pm until 8pm at Featheringill Mortuary with the rosary offered at 7pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11 AM at Holy Spirit Church with graveside services to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
