Dolores Ann Eichem

Dolores “Ann” Eichem was born May 12, 1930 passed June 6, 2018 in San Diego, CA

Ann passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 88 on June 6th. She is survived by her two daughters Donna Berdux and Susan Kozell along with several grand and great grandchildren. She was the youngest and the last of her four siblings.

She was born in Mt Carmel IL in 1930, as Dolores Ann Puryear, where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Eldon Eichem. They moved to Michigan where they had their two children and in 1960 relocated to San Diego where they both remained until their passing. Ann worked over twenty years for Teledyne Ryan and retired as a quality engineer.

Once retired, they were able to travel and enjoy life for a few years. Eldon passed in 2003 but even after her loss, Ann remained active and productive by volunteering at her church and at Kaiser Hospital. She was always looking for ways to make someone’s day better.

Happily, for the last several years she had also found companionship with Marv Belluso. They enjoyed summer concerts with friends, garage sailing and bingo. Anyone who ever knew Ann would agree she was a beautiful ray of sunshine. She was never without a smile and will be missed very much.
