Donald Jack Cilch

Donald Jack Cilch, age 87 passed away peacefully on June 2, 2017. He was born February 13, 1930, in St. Louis Missouri to John Henry Cilch and Hazel Cilch. Donald is survived by his son Richard Cilch, and daughters Kathleen Cilch-Field, Karen Cilch-Aleksandrowicz and his granddaughter Krystal Cilch-Hannis.

Donald loved mining, was an avid reader and spent many years collecting books, and works of art. He loved to write and recite poems. In his youth, he traveled extensively with his father and brothers, Kenneth and Herbert; he loved to share his adventures of his youth. Donald continued to travel in his later years.  Donald worked as a supervisor in the nuclear research department for 18 years and later worked in real estate.

Donald was a kind generous person and shared his joy of life with everyone he met. His special smile, laughter, and caring heart will always be remembered.
