As her children finished high school, she returned to school to get her degree in telecommunications. Upon leaving KPBS she joined the Heartland Lions Club where she became the San Diego / Imperial County representative for the Lion’s Quest Program and also worked with Leo Clubs.
Donna enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and friends. She was married to Ben for over 60 years.
She loved all animals, most of all dogs, of which she had many. She lived a life, giving of her time, talents and love unselfishly. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all that were touched by her life here on earth.
