Edmund Trzcinski

December 10, 1928 — April 15, 2020

On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, Edmund “Butch” Trzcinski, loving husband and father, passed away in San Diego, California at the age of 91.

Ed was born on December 10, 1928 in Fall River, Massachusetts. In 1953 he married Estelle Legare and they raised two children. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University after which he worked for the United States Air Force Geophysics Laboratory until his retirement on Cape Cod.

A talented baseball player, Ed was a competitive athlete. Throughout his life he was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Amongst family and friends he was known for second guessing the coaching decisions of every Red Sox manager. Ed enjoyed a long retirement, golfing, bowling, fishing for blues and playing cards with his poker buddies.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara
Trzcinski and five siblings, Joseph, Eugene, Charlotte, Alex and Jeanne. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Estelle, his daughter, Barbara, and son, Steven. He also leaves behind his son-in-law, Clint Potter, and grandson, Zachary Potter.

His life was defined by his love and undying loyalty to his wife and children. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Kensington Community Church in San Diego.
