Ellen Gunther (Nehrkorn)

Ellen Doris Gunther died peacefully at Sharp HospiceCare BonitaView Home in Bonita, California on July 5, 2018.
Ellen was born June 1, 1945 in Yonkers, New York, to Mr. Jacob and Mrs. Marion Gunther. She lived in New York until April 1976 when her family moved to San Diego, California. Ellen graduated with an Associate Degree from the State University of New York, in Farmingdale, New York and practiced as a Cytotechnologist in both New York and California. Ellen also worked for over 20 years as a credit collector in the medical technology industry. She attended Foothills Church in El Cajon, California.
Ellen is survived by her brother Charles Gunther, her daughter Kari and son-in-law Thomas Crittenden, her two granddaughters Mari and Emma, her daughter Jill Nehrkorn, Nawzad Yasin, and George Nehrkorn.
A memorial service will be held on July 29, 2018 at 2:00PM PST at First United Methodist Church in the Trotter Chapel, located at 2111 Camino del Rio S., San Diego, CA 92108.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be to BonitaView Hospice Home, 3850 Valley Vista Rd, Bonita, CA 91902 in memory of Ellen Gunther.
