Geraldine Joyce Lyons

Gerry was born Geraldine Joyce Grignon to Ernest and Ella Grignon in San Diego in 1931.
Gerry graduated from San Diego High School in 1948. At San Diego High she was a member of the Sargenettes. Gerry was kind, charitable, unassuming and a friend to everyone.

In 1950 she married the love of her life, Hughie Lyons. In January they would have celebrated their 67th anniversary. She loved travelling and hunting with Hughie.

In the early years of their marriage Hughie and Gerry toured the country as the " Lynons",an acrobatic, adagio, balancing act. They worked with such superstars as Elvis, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Judy Garland, Wayne Newton, The Jackson Five and many more.

Gerry is survived by her husband Hughie, sons Jamie (Delores), Eric ( Michelle), Lance, Mark. 6 grandchildren, Chelsea, Heidi, Mallory, Shane, Taccara, Tiffany. 8 great grandchildren, Jaidin, Lila, Julia, James, Dominic, Katherine, Cerephina, Jasmin.

Funeral mass at St Pius X in Jamul at noon on Saturday, January 7.
