Gilbert Ranaldo Contreras

Gilbert Contreras age 77, passed away on Sunday evening March 6, 2016 in the arms of his loving wife of 59 years, Gloria.

Gilbert was born, raised and lived his entire life in San Diego, California. He was the son of Salvador and Consuelo Contreras.

Gilbert was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, brother and friend.

He enjoyed reading, movies and being with his family. His passions were history and politics. He was a business man, entrepreneur and active member of the Hispanic community during the 70’s and 80’s.

Brother of Salvador, Eugene (deceased) and Sylvia (deceased) Contreras. Gilbert has three children; Eileen (husband Tony), Marla (husband Marvin) and Darren (wife Kristin), six grandchildren; Brandon, Gabriel, Ariana, Mallory, Paige and Ethan and one great grandchild; Lilyana.

Gilbert will be deeply missed by his beloved family and friends.
