Graceanne Taua Keil

Graceanne Taua Keil, age 63 was granted her angel wings on December 29, 2021 and has joined her loving mother Priscilla Bruner, father Egbert Keil and brothers Alex Keil and Randolf Keil. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving daughter Nichole Washington.

Grace was born on November 29,1958 in Apia, Samoa. She was the oldest of 6 siblings from Priscilla Bruner, her brothers Alex and Randolf preceded her in death. Grace is survived by her daughter, Nichole Washington and Nichole’s husband Benjamin Washington, her grandkids, Benjamin Washington Jr., Maleko Terrazas and Tasialofa Washington, and her siblings Bolko Keil, Steve Keil, Kyle Keil, William Keil, Leibling Leulua’i, Clint Maloata-Keil, Lopati Keil, Fa’afouina Moana Keil, Loretta Fiasili Keil, Egbert Keil, Jr., and Marrina Dorra Keil.

Her family and friends brought great joy to Grace. She always had a smile for everyone and willing to help anyone in need. She worked at DMV for 15 years, and knew almost everyone in the community. She volunteered for the Pacific Islander Festival Association for years in San Diego and helped increase visibility for Pacific Islanders.

She was a member of Life Changers Ministries and attended regularly. Grace strived to spread the love of God to her family and friends through laughter and prayer.

Grace was a caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left the world a better place with her shining light.
