Helen Joan Myer

Helen Myer aka Helen Williams, Helen Newell was born on 9/17/1934 and left us on 11/12/15, she is survived by her children Raymond and Randi, Grandson Remy, Sister Norma, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Helen was born in Wyandotte, MI and met her husband, Ray O Williams at Wayne State University. Helen earned a teaching degree with an Art minor. Their love of Art was a common theme in their courtship and for many of their friends. After they were married they ventured out to California and started a family in San Francisco in the 60s. Helen taught school in San Francisco, Santa Cruz and San Diego. Her favorite age group was 3-5 year olds where she taught through Art and Story telling. Her hobbies were drawing, reading, calligraphy, and homemade Christmas cards. She attended her church every Sunday, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
