Jennifer Daphine Molenda

Jennifer Daphne Molenda’s (nee Harvey) family and friends will miss her tremendously. Born in San Diego, California on February 22, 1946, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 10th, 2014. For the last month, she was in Kaiser Zion Hospital, where all the staff, especially the ICU team, performed flawlessly. Jennifer worked as an engineer for Pac-Bell for 28 years. She also worked at Chem-tronics where she met her beloved husband. Jennifer was very involved with her church, St. Therese Parish. She loved to spend her free time traveling the country with her husband, Al Molenda. Jennifer leaves behind two sons, David Banks of Texas, Andrew Banks of Colorado, and a stepson Dave Molenda and wife Kerry of Wisconsin. She also leaves behind a brother, Ken Harvey, a sister-in-law Marion Harvey, and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob and Matthew. Further survived by cousin’s Charlie Hutchinson, Cheryl Gilbert and many other loved ones. Please remember Jennifer by making any donations to St. Therese Parish.
Services will be at St. Therese Parish, 6016 Camino Rico, San Diego, CA 92120. There will be a viewing from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, March 20th, 2014. Mass at 11:00 am on Friday, March 21st, 2014, followed by a celebration reception.
