Joan Pietila

Joan Pietila (née Bremer) passed away on January 22, 2024 in San Diego, CA. Joan was born and raised in San Diego with her twin sister, Patty. Both vibrant entrepreneurs, Joan and Patty owned and operated Fogerty Services, a market research firm, for almost 40 years. Her career defined Joan, and she was proud of the organization and legacy she built.

Joan is, and will always be known for, being a giver. Joan raised two children, Amy and Kelly, and later raised her granddaughter, Katie. She is the type of person to give help to anyone in need, and would truly give the shoes off of her feet if it would help someone. Joan was a true friend, having friendships that spanned decades and the country. 

Joan is survived by her children, granddaughter, and her great-grandson. Joan’s memory will be honored every day by her family and loved ones. Joan’s spirit lives on by those left behind on Earth and one day they will be reunited again in Heavenly eternity.
