Joseph "Joey" Robert Ott

May 20, 1932 — August 31, 2024

 “In Loving Memory”

Joseph “Joey” Robert Ott was born on May 20, 1932 to proud parents, Louise Mary Partmann and Joseph Ott.
Joey passed away peacefully in his Spring Valley home early Saturday morning, August 31, 2024, at the age of 92.

Joey was born in New York, New York and spent his early years there. Then his family moved to Pennsylvania, where he grew up on a farm, with his beloved chicken.
Later, Joey and his parents hit the road for California. There he completed high school.

Four years later, at the age of 22, with Joey’s love of country, Joey enlisted in the Army from 1954-1956. Joey loved the Army, and the Army loved him, especially the cooks. Joey enjoyed everything they made and always went back for seconds.
After two years of active duty, Joey continued to serve his country in the Navy Reserves for an additional eight years. Joey then worked for Convair before moving on to Pack Bell, where he retired in 1990.

Joey had a deep love of family and friends. Joey was the kindest most generous and giving person. He would give anyone the shirt off his back, if they needed it. Joey never raised his voice or even had a bad word to say about anyone.

Joey was a very special one of a kind man. Anyone who knew him, loved him and we miss him deeply. It’s just not the same without him.
Joey deserves his rest, and has earned his rest. He is now free, and God willing, we will all be together again.

Joey is survived by many loved ones who will cherish his memory forever, including his former wife, Anna, and her daughter, Allyson, with whom he remained close.

Joey didn’t have any biological children, however, he was deeply loved and remembered by his cousins—Anthony, Johnny, and Jackie, many second cousins, and many nieces and nephews, who all loved him dearly.

Joey was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Pauline, Julius, Johnny, two cousins, Jimmy and Joan and her daughter Jane.
