Kyoko Dicks

Kyoko Dicks passed away December 10, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Larry (deceased); loving mother of Shirley (Jim) Borowski of Chatsworth, CA, Diana Williams of San Diego, CA and Theresa Williams of La Mesa, CA. Proud grandmother of six, Joey, Nicole, Amanda, Robby, Daniel (deceased) and Steven and 2 great grandchildren, Trey and Mila.
Kyoko (Kay) was born in Sasebo, Japan. She met a young Navy man when she was working as a Secretary in the Special Services Department. They married and moved to the United States and lived in San Diego for the past 44 years. She was an accomplished seamstress; having worked at Ratner Clothing and the Naval Base Taylor shop. She served as a member of the board of trustee of this church and sang in the choir. She loved to travel, sing, sew, crochet and spend time with family and friends especially with her grandkids. She was a strong independent woman who moved to a new country without knowing a sole and since dad was deployed most of the time, she raised 3 daughters on her own.
