Siblings: Larry is the baby of the family of 6 children. Predeceased by sisters Mary Katherine and Dorothy, Beverly, brothers Loren, Vernon, and Larry

Died September 15, 2021, San Diego, CA

Married Paula Mary Youngers August 11, 1962, at Blessed Sacrament—one of the first weddings in the new Church—59 years ago.

Larry’s greatest pride is his 3 children:
Tim Okey, married to Pam Okey, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren
Terry Okey, lives in Hollywood and is passionate about music especially the guitar
Kristen Okey Morgan, married to Joshua, 2 grandchildren

Worked in grocery, woodworking.

Loved football: The San Diego Aztecs and The San Diego Chargers. Loved old cars and 50’s music, Balboa Park, folk music concerts, trains and 50’s diners.

Volunteer Extraordinaire: Indian Guides, Altar Boys, Woodworking, San Diego Automotive Museum, San Diego Fire Museum, Antique Automobiles of America Car Club, Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Cursillo’s in Christianity, Whispering Winds Catholic Conference Center

There is no reception following Mass. Friends and family are welcome to mingle on the north side of the Church following Mass.
