Larry (HOT LEW) passed away peacefully at Grossmont Hospital
in La Mesa CA, on January 30, 2014. Larry was born in
National City CA, and grew up in La Mesa CA. Larry was a graduate of
the 1957 class of Helix High School. Larry was preceded in death by his parents
Lou Ford Straightiff and Doris "Dora" Straightiff and by his younger brother Gene Straightiff.
Larrry had 3 children, Ronnie, Russell, and Lori. Larry was an natural electronics and communications
technician. Larrry worked for Tommys T.V., FedMart GENCOM and G.T.E..
Larry was a Ham Radio Operator whose call sign was WA6JNC, his handle was HOT LEW.
Larry enjoyed swap meets and attending Tea Hunts with his friends.
Per his request, he was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea.
