Larry grew up on a farm in northwestern Minnesota alongside his three brothers and three sisters. A proud veteran, he served his country during the Korean War. In 1956, Larry married Karol Tucker, and together they built a life in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They enjoyed raising their 3 children. Having family adventures like camping trips, fishing and travel. Building family bonds, memories and other traditions. Their marriage was a partnership filled with love, commitment, and adventure until Karol's passing after 60 years.
Larry dedicated 36 years of his career to Rahr Malting Company before retiring. In retirement, he and Karol embraced their love for travel by exploring the country together in their RV, creating countless cherished memories along the way.
He is survived by his three children: Chuck Cooper, Todd Cooper, and Robyn (Craig) Narragon; He was a proud Grandpa to Amber, Andrea "Andi," Kristina, Alicia, Erika, Kyle, Raquel, and Trace; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Larry leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment and dedication and it lives on through his family. His devout love for God, family and country held strong in his heart.

May the memory of his infectious smile and twinkling eyes bring comfort to all who knew him.
