Loretta Dorothy Donnelly

Loretta Donnelly passed away Mar. 26,2015, 102 years after her birth in Lemont, Il. The eighth of ten chidden, she met and married the love of her life, John J. Donnelly in 1937. After his service in the Navy, the couple settled in San Diego where they shared their love of dancing, camping, gardening, traveling, Blessed Sacarament Church and the Padres. Loretta was an excellent homemaker who delighted in entertaining and baking. New neighbors were always greeted with a smile and a plate of cookies. After more than 50 years in her home, Loretta moved to the Nazareth House where she lived happily with new and old friends.

Loretta is surived by her daughter, Mary Raymond of San Diego, three grandchildren, Jeffrey Raymond of Roseberg, Ore., Jennifer Raymond and Roger Callahan and a great grandchild, Jayson Raymond all of San Diego.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on April 14, 2015 at the Nazareth House, 6333 Rancho Mission Rd., San Diego with a luncheon reception following immediately.
