Obituary for Marjorie Elaine Miller (Molyneaux)

SAN DIEGO—
Marjorie was born, at home, in Pleasantville, NJ to Walter J. and Doris (Campbell) Molyneaux and was the eldest of three daughters. She succumbed to chronic lung disease October 24, 2017.

Marge graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1945 and attended Juniata College in PA prior to moving to CA with the family in 1946. Her first jobs were in The Riverside Mission Inn Rotunda as print shop clerk and Arthur Murray Dance Instructor! Marjorie was an accomplished classical pianist but disliked practicing. She was an avid reader and borrowed six books at once; also, an animal lover; backpacker; seamstress; artist; photographer, Sweet Adeline and FUMC Choir member/volunteer for many years.
Upon her retirement/relocation to San Diego from Mojave, CA School District in the late 1980s, she reconnected with old friends and met many new ones including The Hot Flashes Circle of Friends.
Marge enjoyed visits to NJ, PA, and MA; road trips, camping/hiking, river rafting, and ocean voyages.
She loved nature. She loved words. She loved life.

Survivors include sisters, Jean Molyneaux Olsen (Florida); and Carol Molyneaux (local); 2 nieces and 8 first cousins.

Many thanks to Kaiser Permanente and Marge’s loving B&C family.
