Marshall "Jack" Evard McCoy Jr., was born in Rock Hill South Carolina on December the 4th 1935, this is where he honed in his fishing and bird hunting skills that he would share with his three sons on many camping trips.
He served in the National Guard before joining the Navy during the Korean conflict.
After he was honorable discharged he would work in a few different occupations including as a mechanic, finally settling on carpentry, where he would retire from the carpenters union after 25+ years.
Jack was an avid Nascar fan, and also loved to go deep sea fishing and enjoyed barbecuing the fish he would bring home, or often he would make smoked ribs for his family to enjoy.
He also had a love for country music and many times would play his guitar during family gatherings.
He passed peacefully on June the 24th 2017 with his family by his side, after 4 1/2 years of dialysis treatments.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years Artie Faye McCoy, his three sons; Donald Roy McCoy, Milton David McCoy, and Mark Thomas McCoy, older sister Peggy Donnell Robins younger brother Thomas Wayne McCoy, granddaughters Dawn and Kimberly, and five great grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by his great grandchild Seth.
