Mary Czubernat passed away peacefully at her home in San Diego, CA after a long and blessed life of 94 years. She was born Mary Frances Kapustka on August 10, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois of Polish descent. She grew up in Chicago along side her sister and two brothers. At the age of 24, she met her love, Eugene Czubernat and were married on May 12, 1951. After having 4 children in Chicago; Wayne, Maria, Bob and Donnie, they left Chicago in 1958 and moved to San Diego, CA,
where she gave birth to 2 more children, Ken and David and was blessed to live out the rest of her life with her family close by. As an adult, she enjoyed roller skating, bowling and entertaining her many friends having family gatherings, and dancing the Polish Polkas. In 1953 in addition to raising a family, Mary also helped her husband to start and grow a successful paving company. Mary was a devoted member of the St. Therese Catholic Church and was also involved with the House of Poland in Balboa Park. Mary loved to travel with her husband, from cruises to visiting her roots in Poland. She truly enjoyed life.
Mary is survived by 4 of her children, Wayne, Robert, Ken, David, and 10 grandkids, Aaron, Candice, Cameron, Karyn, Christopher, Diana, Teresa, Ashley, Kasey, Kristi and 19 great grandchildren, Hayley, Rhylee, Trysten, Kylie, Caydon,
Brody, Deacon, Dylan, Gianna, Laila, Sophia, Jeffery, Bryce, Bailey, Austin, Gunner, Maria, Asher and Matthew.
Mary lived a full and long life of 94 years and will be truly missed and loved by all.
