Michael Edwin Burch

In loving memory of
Michael Burch
March 12, 1955 – November 3, 2017

Mike was born in Flint, Michigan to Richard and Benita Burch. Mike spent his boyhood in Flint, Michigan and Apopka, Florida. He arrived in San Diego as a teenager, joined the Marines when he turned eighteen. After the Marine Corp Mike worked for the San Diego School District and retired after thirty-four years.

Mike loved to fish, play golf and days playing with granddaughter Zoey. Those two had a special bond and were always involved in some type of adventure. Mike deeply loved all of his children, two sons, a daughter, two step-sons, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Although miles separated, Mike cherished every picture posted on Facebook or sent to him.

Mike was very supportive of the music program at Blessed Sacrament Church. Mike assisted with the set up and break down of the sound equipment nearly every Sunday for the past ten years for the Traditional choir. Mike especially enjoyed coffee and donuts after Mass.

Mike is pre-deceased by two sons, step-son, mother and sister. Mike will be deeply missed by family and friends. Rest In Peace….
