Nenita "Choy" Cancio, born in December 1950, passed away on February 22, 2025. Born in Bataan, Phillipines, resided in Lubao.  Nenita immigrated with her Naval husband to California in the late 1970s. A beloved wife, mother, sister, auntie, friend and grandmother, Nenita leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Nenita was the loving wife of Francisco Cancio. Together, they built a life filled with shared moments and cherished memories. Her loving spirit extended to her children, Francis Cancio [son] (spouse- Ivy Knight; son- Waylon Knight) & Emilee (Cancio) Johnson [daughter] (spouse- Jason Johnson). Nenita took immense pride in her role as a mother & grandmother. Nenita loved tending to her garden & her koi fishes. 

In addition to her immediate family, Nenita was also dearly loved by her siblings, Tomas, Lillian, Carmencita & Charito. Survived by many friends and family members (aka "Barkada"), the bonds they shared were strengthened by many joyful gatherings & laughter.

Nenita's kindness and warmth touched the lives of countless friends and family. She was known not only for her exemplary dedication to her loved ones but also for her spirit of generosity and compassion.
