Nora Apalit Herndon

Nora Apalit Herndon, born on November 4, 1950, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, sister, auntie,friend and grandmother, Nora leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Nora was the cherished wife of John Herndon. Together, they built a life filled with shared moments and cherished memories. Her nurturing spirit extended to her children, Mark Kudlach Jr., Jane Rodgers,Sarah Kudlach,Roberto Digma and Richard Rodgers.Nora took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her 15 grandchildren, each one a light in her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Nora was also dearly loved by her siblings, Violeta Apalit, Lydia Domingo, Bella Lewis, Efren Apalit, Noel Apalit, and Ernesto Apalit. Survived by many friends and family members ,The bonds they shared were strengthened by many joyful gatherings, laughter, and an unbreakable support system.

Nora's kindness and warmth touched the lives of countless friends and family. She was known not only for her exemplary dedication to her loved ones but also for her spirit of generosity and compassion.

A viewing will be held in her honor at Featheringill Mortuary, located at 6322 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115, on February 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This time will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and all whose lives she impacted to come together and celebrate her remarkable life.

Though she will be profoundly missed, Nora’s memory will live on through the love she fostered and the lives she touched. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she inspired in others.
