Patricia Ann Brashear (Lynch)

Patricia A. Brashear (Lynch) joined the angels on January 19, 2015, in Escondido, California. Pat was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1930 but she called San Diego her home for over 55 years. She joined the U.S. Air Force after nursing school, but her life’s career was as a devoted wife of 58 years to James E. Brashear, Jr. and mother to their eight children. Pat was a sports fan, avid bowler and dedicated member of her church choir. She is survived by her children, nineteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Patricia’s life will be celebrated in a funeral Mass on January 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 1945 Illion St., San Diego, California. The family is grateful for the care shown to Pat by the professionals at Atria North Escondido and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund or an organization of your choice that supports dementia care and research.
