Richard Josephat Croteau

Richard J Croteau 73 passed away peacefully at his home on 2-7-2023 in Menifee, California surrounded by family.

He was born in Berlin, NH on May 12 1949. Graduated from Berlin High School in 1967. Went into the US Airforce as staff sergeant in 1968. Lived in NH from 1968 through 1976. Moved to San Diego California in 1976. Worked for Caterpillar for 20 years, then worked for ACI for 20 years as a superintendent.

Leaves behind his wife Jean of 35 years, her son Jeff Hoebeck from San Diego, and her daughter Ladonna Hoebeck from Montana.

Sisters, Lucia Castonguay and husband Pete from Winter Haven, Florida, Jeannette Bartoli and husband Ray from Berlin NH and Winter Haven Florida, Alice Ewalt from Berlin NH.

Brothers, Robert Croteau and wife Martha from Berlin NH, Raymond Croteau and wife Angie from St Johnsbury, Vermont. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 He is predeceased by his father Josephat Croteau and mother Doris Croteau.

 Funeral services will be held at a later date, he will be buried at Miramar National Cemetery for veterans in San Diego California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at your Local Veterans Affairs.
