Richard F. Klock of San Diego passed away peacefully from natural causes with his son at his side. He was born in Camden, NJ to Victor and Teresa Klock. After high school, Richard joined the Navy and rose to the rank of CWO3, traveling the world during his 23-year career.
He married Rosemarie in 1962. Together they raised three children with love and humor while living in many locales. He retired in San Diego, obtained a BA in Economics, and began a second career as a Navy contractor that afforded him even more opportunities to travel.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Rosemarie. He is survived by daughters Lisa Klions (Kenneth) and Kathleen Koeppel, son Richard V. Klock, and four grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, dry sense of humor, wise counsel, quiet resolve, and entertaining sea stories.
A funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, Dec. 2nd at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m.
