Robert (Bob) Marvin Bream passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, at the age of 95. He is survived by 5 children, 5 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Bob and his wife Freda who preceded him in death (12/14/2024) moved from Sioux Falls, SD to San Diego, CA for better opportunities for themselves and their family. This was just a hint of the traveling Bob would do later in his life. When the family moved to San Diego, Bob took various jobs (sometimes two) to support his family, so that Freda could take care of the children. He had been retired many years after working as an aircraft examiner at North Island, Coronado,
Bob served his country in the Korean war as a tank sergeant on the front lines. He was very proud to serve his country, had many stories, and that while it was hard, he believed it was an experience he would never change.
Bob traveled to over 50 countries in his lifetime. He traveled numerous times to Europe and South America. He traveled across the United States and visited Australia and New Zealand.
Bob was a devout Catholic who believed in daily prayer. He enjoyed reading non-fiction, was a weather buff, loved a good polka, enjoyed genealogy, and investigated our family roots.
