Rose Rita Nichols (Sharo)

On the evening of January 10,2021 Rose passed away peacefully from natural causes at Lucie's Shady Rest in La Mesa, CA at the age of 83 Rose Nichols was born to parents Charles and Anna Shara in Youngstown, OH in May 1936, and is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, James (45), brother Charles, and daughter Barbara (49).

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, a homemaker, and a retired clerk for the county of San Diego. She was also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Until Rose became afflicted with Alzheimer's decease and immobilizing arthritis in the last 2 years of her life, Rose enjoyed spending time with family and friends, arts and crafts, word games, and traveling with a group of seniors to exciting destinations across the US from time to time. Although she faced many life changing challenges throughout her live, Rose remained strong, caring, and determined. She was loved by many and will be missed. Rose is survived by her son Steven, and 2 grandchildren, Sara and Andrew. Funeral Service will be held prior to burial January 19,2021 at Holy trinity Catholic Church. The burial is to follow mass at El Cajon Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10:00 am on Monday January 18,2021 at Featheringill Mortuary. Due to Covid, visitation will be limited to only immediate family and caregivers approved by Steven.
