Russell Kevin Himmer

Russell (Rusty) Kevin Himmer passed away unexpectedly on April 12th, 2022.

Rusty is predeceased by his mother Patricia Louise Himmer. Left to cherish his memory are his children Jaclyn Himmer, Garrett Himmer, his father Russell Frank Himmer, his sisters Terri Beach and Toni Tedeschi and his brother Ryan Himmer, along with uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Rusty was born July 13th, 1959 in Chula Vista, California and lived in La Mesa, California for the remainder of his life. He had a big personality and was always the life of the party. Rusty was blessed with the gift of gab and was known for his friendliness and outgoing personality and always loved to help people out. He never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcome. He loved sports, especially football and baseball, playing both when he was young. He worked in different types of sales jobs throughout his adult life. Family was always very important to Rusty and he was especially devoted to his two children. It always brought him great joy to spend time with them. Rusty was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.

Please join us in a celebration of life for Rusty Himmer on Wednesday, May 18th. A graveside service will be held at Singing Hills Memorial Park at 11am followed by a Celebration of Life at Harry Griffen Park at 12:30pm where we can share our memories of Rusty. You can attend either or both. Food will be provided at the Celebration.
