Tatiana Piton Julian, 78, of San Diego died Saturday morning. She was born in Sombor, Yugoslavia to Russian emigré parents, Nina and Boris Zalessky.
She was the director of Language Power School of Languages in the 1970s and 1980s. She herself spoke English, Russian, French, Spanish and German.
When the U.S. Grant Hotel of San Diego went through its grand renovation in the early 1980s, Tatiana was hired as the Head Concierge of the hotel.
Later, Tatiana worked for the county as a benefits analyst. She is beloved by many and is survived by her husband, Tony Julian, her two daughters, Natasha Prantil and Helene Hunt, and her three granddaughters, Alexandra Prantil, Sophia Prantil, and Katherine Hunt.
Services Monday July 30 at Featheringill Mortuary, 6322 El Cajon Blvd at 12:30 pm.
Interment Monday July 30 at Mount Hope Cemetery, San Diego.
